We believe it is important to take collective responsibility for fostering a lifelong love of our game. There is set of values and behaviours from the Surrey Junior Cricket Championship that we we have always adhered to but are sharing here as a reminder as we ALL have a role to play.

SPIRIT
Cricket has a long history of SPORTING BEHAVIOUR AND FAIR PLAY embodied by the
'Spirit of Cricket'. We all have a responsibility as guardians of the game to embrace and preserve this spirit.

INCLUSION
Cricket is a game for EVERYONE, and we want every Junior who plays the game to have an active involvement in every game they play with bat, ball or gloves; we want our Seniors to hone their roles and support others developing theirs. Our words and actions should always be inclusive also.

ENJOYMENT
Cricket should be FUN. Whether a player, coach, team manager or parent/guardian, cricket should put a smile on your face. When you enjoy the game you will keep coming back and will develop a lifelong love of the game.
