We’re delighted to welcome back returning players and excited to see new faces joining us. Indoor nets for older age groups began in January and it’s been fantastic to see the progress already being made. The outdoor season starts at the end of April, and we’re all looking forward to another brilliant summer of cricket.

TRAINING SCHEDULE

Minis (U6–U9) – Saturdays

Starting Saturday 25th April 2026 (12 weeks)

• U6 & U7 – 9:00am (School Years 1 & 2)
• U8 & U9 – 10:00am (School Years 3 & 4)

Our Minis section is extremely popular and has reached capacity in recent seasons. Current members are strongly encouraged to register this week before spaces open to new players. Spaces are strictly limited.

Junior Training (U10–U15) – Fridays

Starting Friday 24th April 2026 (12 weeks)

• U10, U11 & U12 – 5:30pm (Years 5, 6 & 7)
• U13, U14 & U15 – 6:30pm (Years 8, 9 & 10)

U16 & U17 Training
These age groups will train alongside the Senior squad on Thursday evenings. Please contact Charlie Haine to be added to the relevant WhatsApp or Pitchero group for updates.

Match fixtures will be published on the website shortly. Please note that some dates may still be adjusted. You must ensure your child is in the correct age group within the account section and under “my roles”, otherwise the correct fixtures will not show in your calendar. *We will send out detailed instructions about how to set availability and acknowledge selection for matches nearer the season.

We’re also excited to announce that a new Junior Coloured Match Shirt will be arriving in the club shop soon. We’d love to see as many teams as possible playing in the new coloured kit this season, helping to create a sense of pride and unity across all the teams playing fixtures this season. I will follow up with another email shortly on this.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

All players must be registered online before attending.
No walk-ins are permitted.

New members:
• Create a parent profile first
• Then add your child as a player

Returning members:
• Log in and ensure your details are up to date
• Confirm your child is assigned to the correct age-group squad

Please check the following carefully:
• Parent profile is created first
• Correct roles are assigned (parent/club member or player)
• Your child is placed in the correct squad (School Year 1 = U6, Year 2 = U7, etc.)
• Permissions are enabled so the club can view contact details and your child’s date of birth

Session Booking

Booking is required for every training session.

• Mark your child as “available” for the correct training session
• Use the Pitchero app or the website calendar: www.godalmingcc.co.uk/calendar

If sessions reach capacity, only booked players will be able to attend.

A single upfront payment of £110 covers:

• 12 weeks of outdoor coaching
• Junior membership
• Match eligibility

BEFORE ATTENDING
--------------------------------------

Please ensure registration, payment and session booking are all completed before your child attends training.

Players should bring:
• A water bottle
• Their cricket kit (if they have it)

Hardball players should bring a cricket ball (as ours regularly go missing!) and ideally a box to every session.

We are keen to grow our Girls’ section and expand into age-specific teams. If you’re interested in helping build this area, we would love to hear from you.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

As a volunteer-run club, we always welcome extra help - umpiring, scoring, team management, or supporting sessions. No cricket knowledge is required.
