Please read the below detail carefully as we will have to work slightly differently to a normal year.

Dear All,

I hope everyone is well. We’ve had new information from the ECB over the weekend and are now in a position to confirm our plans for a safe return to junior cricket this season. If you would like to see the ECB return to cricket roadmap, use this link - https://www.ecb.co.uk/news/2072091/crickets-return-to-play-roadmap-for-england-and-guidance-for-wales

Junior cricket at Godalming CC will begin from the 23rd and 24th April 2021. Please read the below detail carefully (we will have to work differently to normal years and I appreciate the below is slightly long winded but please spread the word regarding the new format/timings). U7, U8 and U9 coaching will be Saturday mornings at 10am and U10s to U15s will be on Friday evenings at the specific times below. Please make sure you follow the process outlined below to ensure you’re booked into the correct session. U16s and U17s will be on either Wednesday or Thursday evenings to align with senior training so please keep an eye out for more information on this in due course. Also, NEW FOR 2021, we’ll be launching a Godalming Girls section on Friday nights for all girls aged 8 to 15 looking to enjoy softball cricket with an emphasis on socialising and fun! Please watch out for a separate email launching this programme over the next few days.

**Saturday 24th April 2021 for 12 weeks**

o U7s, U8s and U9s @ 10am

**Friday 23rd April 2021 for 12 weeks**

o U10s @ 4.30pm

o U11s and U12s @ 5.30pm

o U13s, U14s and U15s @ 6.30pm

- Each session will run for 55mins only to allow enough time between groups to sanitise equipment and for the group to disperse before the next group arrives.

- U16s and U17s will net practice on Wednesday/Thursday nights but we’ll confirm over the next few days.

**Important Detail**

- Your child must be registered on the website ( https://www.godalmingcc.co.uk ). We will not be able to take any “walk-ins” on Friday evenings/Saturday mornings.

o New members must create a new profile and returning members must ensure your account is live and up to date - go to http://www.godalmingcc.co.uk and log in where you will find details of teams, matches, events and your own profile.

o Your Profile - ensure you and your child(ren) have the correct roles assigned including you as a parent and your child as a player within the correct team: Go to "Your Account", go to "Membership", select Godalming Cricket Club, then "Manage Roles" for you and your child.

o Ensure you have given us permission to see your details;

 contact email and phone number to assist in any Covid-19 Track and Trace requirements.

 details of your child (including DOB - this helps us ensure your child's profile is correct and any team’s fixtures are aligned with the correct players).

- All sessions will be by BOOKING ONLY. To do this, you need to set “available” for the relevant training session which can be found using the Pitchero App or by using the calendar on the website here - https://www.godalmingcc.co.uk/calendar . Please ensure you book into the correct session specific to your age group. If you don’t book in you will not be able to join the session due to the limited numbers we can cater for in each session. IF you cannot find the session it is likely to be SOLD OUT. If you’re not sure then please contact me and I’ll be able to confirm.

- One up-front payment of £80 will cover the 12 weeks of coaching and allow for selection in matches. All fixtures are now live on the website. You must make payment online as we will not be taking cash or card payment during this current climate. This can be done by visiting the website - https://www.godalmingcc.co.uk/payments - click on “JUNIOR ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION PLUS 12 WEEK COACHING PACKAGE 2021”.

- Please read before attending a session;

o Ensure you’ve signed up on the website, paid your Junior Annual Subscription and booked onto the relevant session.

o The clubhouse will not be in use, at least for the first few weeks.

o Please bring as much of your own equipment as possible.

o Bring your own water bottle as the clubhouse kitchen will not be accessible.

o In line with current Government guidance, if someone is symptomatic, and/or living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection, they should stay at home and follow Government guidance and if they are classified as extremely vulnerable then they should follow the Government guidance.

o Please WASH YOUR HANDS before and after each session.

o Social distancing should be adhered to at all times whilst at the cricket club.

We look forward to seeing you soon! If anyone has any questions at all, please contact me through the website or on cricket@godalmingcc.co.uk
